Ponzo Illusion

Both of these dildos are huge, but which one do you think is larger? The dildo on the right appears to be bigger, but in fact they are exactly the same size.

How it works: This drawing is a variation on the Ponzo illusion, which was named after Italian psychologist Mario Ponzo. Our brain judges the size of objects in part by their relation to their background. Our minds interpret the converging lines as perspective, meaning the dildo on the right must be further away, and so we perceive it as larger than the dildo that is “closer” to us.
